Pokemon Sun Team

Oh look. I DID A THING.

This actually took way longer to color than it should have. I am SOOOOOOOO out of practice. But it was really fun. I need to art more.

But here is the team I have planned for Pokemon Sun. My Y Team didn't come together as I had originally planned, so we'll see if this one comes together. It should this time since I know better what I'm getting into than I did before Y came out. But they are all cute and I love them!

The only one I've named so far is my Litten, who I shall name Tartan. I realize now that naming a stripped creature after a plaid pattern seems like I'm trying to go for something ironic, but that's not really what happened. When I first sat down to draw Tartan, (in a different picture that hopefully I'll finish one day,) I wanted to give him an accessory. I like giving the Pokemon accessories but hardly ever do it seems like. Most of the Omega Ruby team I did but that was an unusual case. Even in this pic Tartan is the only one with anything but that's because I had already given it to him. Hopefully someone will have something in the final team pic.

Anyway, when trying to figure out what accessory I would give him, I looked up what kind of things people make cats wear. I saw a couple of pictures of cats wearing hats and thought this type of hat would be cute. I then decided to give it a tartan pattern and then randomly decided, "That could be his name!" And thus Tartan became Tartan.

I think I might actually name the others after clothing patterns too. Like I am leaning on naming the Jangmo-o Argyle and the Bounsweet I think I'll name Dots. But we'll see if I do that. I want to but maybe I'll come up with something better.

I made it an odd size. I want to use it as a background on my iPad and this was the recommended sizing. So we will also see how that works out. But anyways, here is my team. What is yours?
